Ambience ok - service could be better - food lukewarm - served on rectangular PLASTIC!? plates. They need to return to good ol ceramic plates that, when heated, keep your food hot while your eating! Fried rice mediocre - main courses lacked "pizzaz" - lukewarm. Don't know what happened while you were gone, but we want our OLD TING'S PLACE back! :(
New Adress. It has moved to 1265 S. Public Road Lafayette. It is just cross the street from where it used to be. It will open in a few months.
Tings is amazing. A friend of mine had introduced me to Tings, and I was hooked right away. I love hot and sour soup, and have tried it from every chinese restaraunt I have ever been to. Tings hot and sour soup wins by a landslide! The sesame beef was also perfect and better then any other place I have tried it. Tings is a great place for quality, and price and I will be happy when they find a new location as they are no longer at 400 W South Boulder RD.
It's not there any more!. Does anyone know where they moved to? I have to have a Ting's fix soon.
Amazing small town Chinese food. I'm origianlly from NY and moved to Lafayette 26 years ago. To my horror, the best Chinese food around was in the VFW in Aurora. However, around 15 years ago, Ting's Place opened right in my own neck of the woods and I've been hooked ever since. There is only one menu item that I've ever NOT enjoyed and they have the best wonton soup, bar NONE, of any Chinese restaurant I've ever eaten in. The food has stayed consistent all these years and I have to have my "Ting's Fix" at least once a week.
