Over priced-chili no more than a broth costing $8 bowl.. My chili entree did not come with cheese, or any pork except small scraps. Nothing just broth. I felt cheated at paying $8 a bowl for this. The menu was removed from the table so I assumed this was all there was to it. We had to wait over 15 minutes for our order. The service was kind of rude because it was fast and brash. It was not a good experience. The chili entree was definitely pathetic. I wrote to the manager of the OLI and was told that was too bad, despite the fact that the entree did not meet the description on the menu. He defended his wait staff and his prices. If one likes a can of green enchilada sauce from a store placed in a bowl with two tortillas and being charged $8 a bowl, one can understand my disappointment.
Great food, interesting service.
My husband and I enjoyed the beautiful bar, Irish beer and yummy food at OLI. We went twice. The first time was weird customer service, but we liked the food, so we thought we would give it another try.
However, it is interesting when you walk in, nobody greets you for a good minute or two and then one of the staff members will say, "Hey sit over there."
We had to wait about 15 minutes just to order a drink and appetizer, due to not knowing who our server was for the evening. The food was prompt both times we visited.
Training the staff in customer service and communicating with the customers would greatly help the dining experience be better for the customers.
It is nice to dine out and get good food and good service. Not sure if the food is worth putting up with the so-so service.
Good food, great service. First off, the historical bar is beautiful, it dates from the 1880's. The building itself has been around since 1906. My wife and I dropped in on a whim for dinner. Service was exceptional and the food was great. I'll definitely go back
