My husband and I enjoyed the beautiful bar, Irish beer and yummy food at OLI. We went twice. The first time was weird customer service, but we liked the food, so we thought we would give it another try. However, it is interesting when you walk in, nobody greets you for a good minute or two and then one of the staff members will say, "Hey sit over there." We had to wait about 15 minutes just to order a drink and appetizer, due to not knowing who our server was for the evening. The food was prompt both times we visited. Training the staff in customer service and communicating with the customers would greatly help the dining experience be better for the customers. It is nice to dine out and get good food and good service. Not sure if the food is worth putting up with the so-so service.

First off, the historical bar is beautiful, it dates from the 1880's. The building itself has been around since 1906. My wife and I dropped in on a whim for dinner. Service was exceptional and the food was great. I'll definitely go back

The OLI is almost always crowded. That's a testament to the good food and fun atmosphere. The place is steeped in history, which is printed out on the placemat for you to read. They own a HUGE wooden bar that is just gorgeous!! The food is excellent, too - from salads to sandwiches and then richer entrees. My favorite is the Irish Reuben sandwich. They have really good salad, too. A great list of beers is on tap, which makes for an even better time! They also are very kid friendly with Kids Eat Free nights on Saturday and Sunday and they have a kids playroom with toys and videos downstairs.
