Colorado Health Dept rating: UNACCEPTABLE. I have eaten here a couple of times, but never been happy with the service. Unfortunately, this is the only Indian restaurant near my house. I was planning on visiting it again this weekend, but based on an earlier review regarding rodents here, I looked up The Colorado Dept of Health's record for this restaurant. They have failed the most recent inspection and the Dept has listed them as UNACCEPTABLE. The details are available online at the Boulder County Colorado Public Health website.

Rodents in the kitchen!. Their kitchen is not very clean. I was standing by the counter (right by the kitchen) waiting to pay my bill and I saw a rather large rodent scurrying by. That was unnerving! Given the amount of $$$ they charge you for dinner, the least they can do is keep the place clean!

I won't be visiting this place again...

Great food, exelent service, true romantic atmosphere, ENJOY. I love to eat. Last week my indian friend took me to a new place. It was the Taj Mahal Restaurant in Louisville. I never heard their name before. When I went inside I was surprised. I thought my friend took me to his homeland (India). I like their interior design. It's unique! I was very very hungry! Their food did not make me disappointed. I really enjoyed their Tandoori Mixed Grill dish and vegetable Biriany. They gave us a free dessert . The owner is a very nice guy, he has a great sense of humor. I truely love their food and service. I will go there again very soon.

best fine indian restaurant in louisville. I threw a party in Taj Mahal last night and it was great. My guests were so happy. Food and environment were so good. My wife is planning for another small party, ofcourse in Taj mahal.

We really love to go and eat there.

Great restaurant. I have eaten here for my 4 years at CU - Boulder, and I have yet to find a better restaurant than this one. Note, I prefer this restaurant (South Boulder Road location) to the one actually located in Boulder, Colorado. The staff is very friendly and gave me free desserts everytime I would go for something other than the buffet
