Don't Use This Plumber!

My experience with Sammons Plumbing and Ken Sammon was awful. I had some potentially dangerous odors in my house...with a baby on the way, I was very concerned and was recommended to Ken Sammon. Ken came to my house, seemed very nice and came up with some theories as to what the issue might be. He said he was going to get some parts as well as a carbon monoxide dedector to install. Well...on 2 different occasions, I altered my work schedule to be at home when Ken said he would come by. He never showed up. Worse than that, he never called to say he couldn't make it. EVEN worse than THAT, despite my leaving somewhere in the neighborhood of 10 messages to see what happened, he never even had the decency to return one of my phone call. Completely inexplicable. Don't trust this guy. 100% unreliable.

Extraordinary service: cost conscious and efficient

We called Ken to ask for an estimate to repair a broken water pipe. He came to our house that same day, and looked at the problem ? a leaking copper pipe in the wall of our basement. He quickly determined we had to go in through the concrete garage floor, and dig about 5 feet down to reach the leak. On the spot, Ken organized an efficient and cost-conscious solution. As he stood in our driveway, Ken got on his cell, put together a team of 4 companies, got on their schedules, and gave us a very reasonable quote. He knew the other people well through his years of experience working in the Boulder area.

Ken coordinated the cutting of a 4 x 5 square in the concrete floor of the garage, digging a huge hole down to the pipe, repairing the pipe, the filling of the hole and laying a patch of concrete on the garage floor. Unbelievably, the work began on Wednesday afternoon, and ended just 2 ? days later, on Friday afternoon. All parts of this job were done efficiently and with the best quality materials and techniques. Ken and all his partners were hardworking, polite, responsive people that were delightful to deal with. We highly recommend Ken Sammons to everyone and he will be the first person we call if we need work done in the future.

Completely Unreliable and Unprofessional

Ken Sammons was a no-show for THREE scheduled appointments, each of which my husband stayed home from work to accommodate, without the courtesy or decency of a phone call to cancel until days later. When we called and left messages after the third time requesting an explanation, we were given none - not even an apology for having caused my husband to miss work unnecessarily. This business is not run in a professional manner and Ken Sammons demonstrates no respect for other people's time. I would not recommend that anyone use this business.
