Avoid this business. They will not get around to doing the repairs they say they will, they will not call you, and they are rude when you call to try to get an estimated repair date weeks after you take a job in.

I took my sewing machine in to see if it could be repaired. After a week, I called to see if they had found anything; the man said his sewing machine repair person would have to look at it, because he couldn't find what was wrong. After another week and a half, I called again - again, the repair person wouldn't be in until next week. The man on the phone was impatient, rude and not the least bit concerned that the shop was simply not doing anything. I decided that I was done with waiting and went to the shop to just get my sewing machine back. While I was there, they were giving the same story to another woman who was trying to find out when her sewing machine would be done. I consider myself lucky to get out of there with my machine, although I hope that the tinkering done by the guy who was NOT the sewing machine repair person didn't damage it further. Totally disreputable shop, and awful experience. Save yourself the heartburn, find someplace else.

Oreck Dealer!. We own several Oreck products that still have warranty and servicing on them and there was no where close to Boulder to have warranty work done, so when we seen there ad in the Daily Camera we where thrilled to see that Boulder Vacuum is a Oreck authorized dealer. We took are vacuum in for its free annual service they got it done the very next day it looked and worked like new!

Avoid this business. A co-worker took her vacuum to this business for repair. She was very specific about what she wanted.

1. Factory replacement parts of the wheels.

2. The handle catch fixed. The handle would not stay upright. It fell to the floor if you let go.

They said that they could give her what she asked for. The following is the service she recieved.

They kept the vacuum for four weeks and did not fix the handle. The owners son claimed that it was not broken and was designed to fall to the floor. The wheels they placed on the vacuum were not factory replacements. By her description they were cheap and gaudy. When she complained they were argumentative and insulting. She then told them that she was not satisfied with their service and that she wanted the original wheels replaced. If I understood her corectly they said that would cost extra. In the end she had to pay $50.00 just to get her vacuum back. Nothing was fixed and she still has to find someone reputable to fix it.
