YUMMYIES!. By far, Illegal Pete's is the best burrito place in town, specifically because they actually mix the infredients together ulike other inferior burrito places.

No secret.. If you live in Denver or Boulder - it's no secret that these are the best burritos around, maybe not authentic burritos, but whatever they are they are the best. The tortilla is perfect and the ingredients are seasoned well - they don't skim when putting the ingredients on the burrito either - They fill it until it burst. Cheap and Yummy.

mmmm...burritos!. Laid back atmosphere, friendly waitstaff that speaks English, happy hour, tender meats, salsa variety, and on top of it all, they take the extra step to STIR the ingredients in your burrito so that you don't have humongous bites of just one ingredient. Yum!

Fast East Place. Great food, quick to just run in and grab a bite, but delivery can take forever!

Excellent. The best of the major burrito chains. Beats Chipotle in pretty much every category -- ingredient quality and freshness, taste, capable service.

Mixin it up. Unlike Chipotle, which is indeed good, Illegal Pete's does a little something extra to their burritos-- they mix the ingredients together. It blends well, and tastes a heck of a lot better than Chipotle.

Great place to go!. I really appreciate the fact that the staff is so friendly at both the one in Denver and the one in Boulder. And if you're vegetarian or vegan they make are flexible enough to make modifications without charging you for it like one of the other take out places mentioned.

We miss you Pete!. Used to live in the Boulder area and Illegal Pete's was at least a once a week visit! What can I say - it's the best mexican food for the best price.
