Best burrito anywhere!. The only thing I crave is an Illegal Pete's burrito! We recently tried the queso, muy bien! The chips are nice and warm too.

Best Giant Burritos. The best burritos around. Make sure they mix the ingredients before they wrap your burrito. I eat there every time I make it to the "Hill"

Beats Chipotle everytime!. If you're on the mall you can't get better fast food than IP. The potato burritos rock, but I always get them in a bowl. Always a lunch crowd, so be prepared to stand in line. More choices than I know what to do with on the menu, though I always come up with something delicious. If you get your burrito in a bowl the tortilla or chips come free.

Hungry folks on the Hill do time here--especially in the wee hours--for budget burritos, tacos and other Mexican eats.. In Short
Pete's claim to fame is its after-closing-time hours. Thursday through Saturday, the joint stays open until 2:30am to feed pub crawlers looking to cure the munchies and fend off a pending hangover. The big-as-your-head wraps are stuffed with meat, beans, rice and other goodies--the marinated and grilled chicken version is the most popular. At $5, these are the sort of bulk-food deals all can love. Tacos come in various forms, fish are especially popular.

Don't use your credit card!!!. Awesome potato burrito, IP has my favorite burrito.

You have to be fast about telling them about any special preferences, they make your burrito assuming everyone wants the same helpings.

The cashiers are too lazy to safely put your signed cashier copy in the register - anyone could take or read the numbers & exp. date from your credit card!!! It would be like putting your credit card in visibility of various strangers.

Pete's is my fave!. Illegal Pete's has by far the best burrito in town - you have to try their potato burrito - you'll never go to a chain burrito place again!

No Contest Best.. Everything from the ingredients to the preparation to the way everything is blended in the end (the best part!) Illegal Pete's has no real competition other than for street corner locations. I spend double the price of the food on transportation to get there just to have the privilege of eating the best burritos I have ever had.
