My Favorite. Pasta Jay's is my absolute favorite! They use a ton of garlic, and everything I have had has been delicious. The location and atmosphere are great, especially when the windows are open. My best friend and I come here everytime I come to town, and I have never found another Italian restaraunt I like better. It is slightly annoying to pay an "extra bread charge" when you are already paying $6 for a dinner salad, but that is really my only complaint.

Good Pizza. Good pasta.. This is our "go to" restaurant. We drive from Broomfield for their fantastic pizza. Friday night special is Seafood Ernesto, a must if you love seafood pasta. You can choose either a red or white sauce. The weekends, you can expect a wait so you know it is good. Jay has opened a few other locations, but the service and food still remain great at this location.

PROM 5/9/09. Everyone knows prom is suppose to be the time of your life, well Pasta Jay's made that happen. They usually don't do reservation but it was prom and gard week for CU, so they were accepting them. When we first called we had planned to do dinner at 6:30 but one of our friends had to work till 4, I called them back to see if we could change it to 7, they were more then willing to change it.

My boyfriend who at first wasn't able to make it, ended up being able to come :)!!! Making our party of 7 turn in to 8, when we got there I asked them if it was possible to add him, they said it was no problem. They did say the table might be a little tight because of the add on and it was the only one they had ready for us. And truthfully it wasn't to bad.

Since it was a busy weekend we expected dinner to take roughly two hours, it was only an hour. And for how busy it was the service was fast and nice, our waitress forgot our bread, but to make it up she gave us a free dessert, and we were already a little to full for bread.

I love this place and anyone who wants good, pasta or pizza Pasta Jay's is the place, but beware it is a hot spot in boulder and there will be a wait but its worth it!!!!!!!

Best Pizza between Portland, OR, and the East Coast. I must admit I am a pizza snob and am very partial ot the pizza of the Northeast. In the Portland, OR, metro area there is one pizza place that does justice to pizza the way I love it. On a recent business trip to Boulder, CO, my friend and I enjoyed a few happy hours on Peal Ave, then decided it was dinner time. We decided on Pasta Jay's. While we were waiting in line, I looked in the window and saw three elderly people sharing a pizza. One look at that pizza told me it was great. The crust was thin while the sauce and cheese were in good balance. We ordered a medium pizza with fresh basil and meatball. Wow! I felt I was in one of thost great finds in NYC or New Haven, CT. The pizza came out nice and crisp and was a pleasure to eat. I cannot wait to go back to Boulder. I must say it was the best pizza between Portland and the East Coast. I know, Chicago is between, but I have not been to Chicago in a long time. Uno's (the franchises) have come and mostly gone for good reason. But I do hope the original Uno's and Uno's Due are still wonderful.

Best pizza period. Thin, crispy, perfect crust and sauce ratio, great toppings. Value for the buck was great, great windows that make you feel as if you are outside. Friendly people. The Chicken with lemon/caper sauce lnch was excellent too.

Great sauce and pasta.. The veal cutlet was very good, and everyone was happy with their entree. We had pesto tortelini, ravioli and alfredo, all were excellent.

Chicken 7 Eggplant Milanese. Bad red sauce, tasted burnt and way to salty. One of the worse I have ever had.

BEST ITALIAN!!!!. Pasta Jay's is the absolute very best italian restaurant I have ever dined at! I have been there on numerous occasions and have always been highly impressed with the service, the food & the atmosphere! You will experience the best cheese tortellini on earth at this restaurant- smothered in alfredo sauce and baked with mozerella cheese on top- you can add shrimp or chicken for a little extra $ ... The stuff is to die for!

Pasta Jay's is "hands down" the best Italian food in the Midwest!

I'd recommend it to anyone. I've been coming to Pasta Jay's since it was down the street when Pour la France! was still in Boulder. I started coming on lasagna special days but now take every chance I get to visit when I am in Boulder. This is one of the most flavorful Italian restaurants I have found in the Denver Metro area...I'm just sad it's all the way in Boulder. I'd be there once a week if I could. I've never had less than a great meal at Pasta Jay's and it's so affordable. Love this place and tell everyone to go all of the time! Bravo!
