Best Sushi in a long time!!!!!! Food and Service was Awesome!!!. Wow,

I had not been back into Japango in a couple months and it was probably the best sushi I have ever had. I have now been twice in the last few weeks, and both times it everything was incredible. All the fish was great, very fresh and had a couple of new appetizers that were delicious. The servers were a lot of fun and made me want to come back from their service and attitude alone. Great time, they have really kicked it up a notch! Try the Hamachi Jalapeno appetizer. I heard that management or ownership has changed so maybe that has something to with their superior sushi in Boulder now. There is probably no other place I will go in Boulder if they keep this up.

Overrated!!!. Alot of Boulderites consider Japango to be almost as good as Hapa or Zanmai, but it's not even close. To start with, the serivce as ALWAYS slow and somewhat unfriendly, and most importantly the sushi isn't that good.

Boulder has tons of great sushi, don't ruin your sushi experience by going to Japango.

Modern Japan meets Birkenstocked Boulder with sushi fresh from the sea.. In Short
This techno-chic sushi place offers an escape from the bustle of Pearl Street Mall. The decor of stainless steel and black with swirls of silvery phosphorescence are softened by fresh flowers on the tables and the natural light. Every bite of fish is melt-in-your-mouth fresh, from the creamy, fatty tuna and sweet-coated freshwater eel, to the smooth yellowtail and salty flying fish roe. Traditional appetizers include light tempura, dynamite lobster and beef gyozas.

Good deal. The lunch special are great (although a little slow if you're on a 30-minute lunch break).

The radio is annoying, but if you don't mind, the food is excellent.

OK, but there's much better in Boulder. Japango is OK, but it's not great. We order take out from here quite a bit because they deliver. But the sushi is pretty average, not the freshest around, and the cooking is not very inventive. If you need some food delivered, or if better Japanese restaurants are filled, this is a safe bet. But otherwise, you can do much better in Boulder for sushi.

Best sushi on Pearl.. Fresher and considerably more authentic sushi than the local competitors, I became a big fan on Japango within 5 minutes on my first visit. Sushi fans strolling Pearl should look no further.

Try the Magic Mushrooms!. I love Japango! Everything from their Magic Mushrooms (which don't even have mushrooms in them), to their specialty rolls, especially the Chicago and the New York. Great atmosphere and super prices, don't miss this one in Boulder, or Japon in Denver!

Good Sushi future shock, all you can eat. WOW! When I walked in the atmosphere was very Unique. The enteryway had a few waiting tables with mini flatscreen TVs. It was packed the wait time was about 15 minutes. The waiting area is small so we waited outside and did a little window shopping. The wait is worth it. You can call in ahead, which I do recommend. Once seated I couldn't help but look around at the surroundings. The dim lights made me feel like I was eating outside at night. I had the All you can eat sushi(Tuesdays only) Had just about everything and it was all good. The Samon Mushrooms, I highly recommend. Very Good. The service was great and the staff was helpful. The value was unbeatable. There normal day prices are great as well. At the end of the night I left full and satisfied, and had a longing to come back.

My favorite. When in Boulder, we always end up at Japango. It is so delicious and fresh and good, never TOO crowded but always bustling with cool people. The diverse menu is always pleasing.
