Between the microbreweries and taverns of Boulder, the Foundry offers a more metropolitan atmosphere with DJ's and live music. The crowd combines college students with working professionals of all ages. Pool players can enjoy 11 regulation size pool tables and at least five nights a week features live music starting at 10pm. A glass-enclosed smoking offers a retreat for smokers and eliminates the smoky-lounge feel in the rest of the bar.

The Foundry is a great place to go and shoot some pool and have a drink. It's located in the middle of Boulder and sports a really young crowd. The drinks are pricey, but the billiards is reasonably priced. Overall, a fun spot to be, especially during the summer time.

Boulder's premium spot where all the beautiful people can be found, when one enters the Foundry there is a moment of confusion as to whether you're in a college town bar or an Abercrombie & Fitch advert. The Foundry boasts well-made, classy drinks, local beers on tap and a huge billiards room packed with action for every skill level. Whether you're just picking up a game with a few friends or out for a night of serious sharking, there will be a table for you. Ladies, be careful, as the Foundry is notoriously labeled Boulder's meat market. Go with a buddy or friends to ensure a safe night out. The Foundry rooftop is loaded from the moment it opens with mostly Greek-scene collegiates and twentysomething young professionals. It's a great place to hang out, to mingle, to buy pricey drinks and to absorb the experience of being young, attractive, privileged and social...kind of a socialites-in-training sort of experience. If you're a citygirl or boy, and thirsty for something hip and trendy in Boulder - The Foundry is a sweet place to be on Thursday nites. The DJ plays pretty awesome hiphop and you can get your groove on. The fun really starts at around 11pm. The bartenders here are the best! Admittedly it is a yuppie bar, but has a nice cross between laid-back and stylish.
