Having success in the past with jewelry
repair I brought in an earring for repair. The post was loose and needed to be secured. This is when my bad experience began. The sales person was not able to quote me a price for the repair. An estimated quote was satisfactory for me. Next I was told I would receive a phone call when the repair was finished.
Two and a half weeks later I stopped by the shop to check on the status. I was told "I would receive a call when the repair was finished" Then a phone call was placed to check on the status. Apparently the same sales rep was unaware her voiced could be heard in the store making it possible for me to hear what she was saying. It must have been funny to her that my earring had been returned back to the store a week prior to my visit.
Then 2 sales reps came out to let me know the earring could not be repaired AND that the post broke. No sincere apology was offered. They did offer to let me take the broken earring home with me. How generous of them. Wow thanks ladies.
It is pathetic to bring an item in for repair to receive it back in worse condition.
