With the National Forest on one side and Boulder Creek just a few steps away, this quiet motel is a popular base for budget-minded tourists. It offers an inexpensive, outdoorsy vacation, and at the same time is also close to the restaurants and shops of Boulder.

The Details
The 32 pleasantly decorated, air-conditioned guest rooms have queen-sized beds, cable TV, telephones, microwaves, coffee makers, and small refrigerators. Some also come with kitchenettes. The Bridal Suite (#42) ups the ante with a king bed and great forest views. A nice perk given the rates is 24-hour front desk service. Families with children will appreciate the playgrounds, barbeque grills and picnic tables at Eben G. Fine Park just across the street. Weekly and monthly rates are available.
