This is my new salon. My long time stylist had retired and I was not looking forward to finding someone new. Pompadours came highly recommended by a dear friend and so I tried it. I am so pleased that I did! I got a wonderful cut, the staff was very friendly and the customer service was outstanding!

Awesome service!. I am new to Boulder, and found Pompadours through the Aveda website. I was pleasantly surprised at how well I was treated there, even though they did not know me from Adam! I have gone to salons before where I have been ignored because I was not a returning customer.

I went in and left my style completely up to Mick and I love it! Best cut I have had in a few years. I am so glad that I picked the right salon on the first try in my new town! I will definitely be returning to Pompadours.

Awesome Salon. I was walking on the Pearl Street Mall and spotted Pompadours and walked in on a whim to get my hair cut. They were able to accommodate me right away. Vanessa cut my hair- she is funny and my hair looks fantastic. The other stylists and their clients were talking and laughing. Oh! And I got a killer head massage!

BOULDER YOU ARE BETTER THAN THIS SALON.. SHAME ON YOU POMPADOURS- BOULDER DESERVES BETTER!

By far the worst salon experience of my life. My stylist cancelled several times but I decided to stick it out and I knew I should have cut my losses when upon my arrival there was a college aged girl crying her eyes out over her cut and the employees offered nothing but a smirk at this poor girl.

Through the entire cut and color the stylist (who I would in NO way consider stylish) proceeded to complain about all her clients that don't tip at least 40% and that the salon's owners would rather NOT have those individuals as clients!!!!! I thought I was a good tipper at 25% but perhaps through the countless appt.'s the salon cancelled on me was their way of getting rid of me as a client. Which seems to be common practice as it happened to my friend as well.

Needless to say I was offended, but the worst part of this experience was: the cut and color were of the same quality as the local Great Clips.

SAVE YOUR MONEY AND SUPPORT A SALON IN BOULDER THAT DESERVES YOUR MONEY, AND BUSINESS. Boulder is too chic and too stylish for this horrible place.

Brides: Beware of Pompadours. After trying to make appointments for our bridal party, with back and forth emails and phone conversations, Wendy, the wedding coordinator at Popmadours in Boulder decided that "it was just too confusing and taking way too much time." Her solution to this was to send an email indicating that our bridal party would be "better served" at another salon and promptly, without any warning, cancelled all appointments that had been tentatively set for the wedding day. I spoke with both owners but sadly their customer service approach appears to sync with Wendy's...if you ask too many questions and need extra attention on scheduling (as living out-of-state can bring about!) Pompadour's solution is not to try to come to a reasonable resolution but to, instead, cancel your appointment. Unbelievable, but true.

Never had a better cut!. So I just moved to Boulder about a six months ago and was really worried about finding a new salon. I had three or four people recommend me to Pompadours so I decided to try it. Let me tell you I am so glad that I did. Everyone their was very friendly and made sure all my needs were met. Before getting my haircut they gave me a nice relaxing head massage. I told my hairdresser what I wanted and they went through the pros and cons of the cut that I would be getting to make sure that was the best suited cut for me. The cut turned out amazing and exactly what I was looking for. I recommend anyone who is looking for a top of the line cut or color to go their. Plus they have been voted best in Boulder the last THREE years in a row and have been mentioned in INStyle magazine.. if that doesn't tell you anything

Fabulous Salon Experience!. I visited Pompadours for a cut and color. I found the entire experience --from my initial call to set up an appointment through the moment I left Pompadours- to be extremely wonderful. The manager and front desk staff were very helpful and professional. My stylist and her assistant were amazing. I had a thorough consultation before my stylist started and I felt very confident and comfortable that I was going to get the cut and color I wanted. I couldn't be happier and I look forward to my next visit.

Excellent updo - Took the time to make a great hairstyle!. I went to pompadours to get a modern-beehive updo for a wedding I was attending. My stylist, Kelcey, asked for a photo by email of the kind of style I wanted before hand so she could study it (how professional is that!) so I had high expectations right from the start. The receptionist was very nice/inviting, offered me a drink right away. Kelcey really took the time to make my hair look great - she didn't rush me out just because my appointment slot was coming to a close. She stayed an extra 30 min to make sure my hair was perfect and that it would stay perfect through a whole night of dancing... which it did! I had so many compliments on the style - people kept asking me where I'd had it done because it looked so beautiful! I was only visiting CO for the wedding (I live in NYC) so I can?t make visiting Pompadours a regular thing but if I'm ever back in Boulder for an event I'll know just where to go!

Hair Salon. I have been a client at Pompadours for over ten years. The service, ambiance and haircuts are above par. On a rare occassion, I have had to go elsewhere to get a haircut and I always return to Eddie at Pompadours. My hair is very curly and hard to cut but Eddie always makes it look great! I highly recommend Pompadours.

Fixed a hair style emergency from another hair salon!. I had an awful cut and color from another salon. I called in and was matched up with a stylist the same day. She was friendly and helpful and we got my hair back into great shape!
