In Short
Dedicated to to teaching about Boulder's local history, the museum offers group tours and historical projects in the form of trunks and panels to area schools. The house itself is Indian sandstone accented by Italian fireplaces and ornate carved wood. It's divided into seven display rooms, each representing an area of the home; featuring beaded gowns, barber chairs, quilts, monkey-fur coats and an antique "safety bike," which was designed to keep ladies' skirts out of the spokes.
