lunch buffet could be a lot better. Went to Tsing Tao yesterday for lunch buffet.

The hot and sour soup was very thick; too much starch or sitting around too long? The lomein was ok. it could have been fresher. The dumplings were a little too dry also.

It seems too many chinese buffets prepare a perfunctory lunch buffet. Maybe there's not enough traffic to the restaurant during lunch to have fresher buffet selections.

I've been there for dinner and the food is much higher quality.

The Table Mesa shopping center locale may not be fancy, but the food is authentic.. In Short
Despite its strip-mall location, this eatery is authentic, and the food more than makes up for the lack of ambiance. Starters include the assorted vegetable soup for two (large enough for four). The fried rice is well done and familiar. The egg foo young--a mix between an omelet and a potato pancake--is generous and filled with veggies. The sesame bean curd is safe even for those who may not like tofu.

my favorite neighborhood restaurant. I love this place. It's cheap, friendly, unpretentious (a rarity in Boulder), and the food is pretty damn good if you're not expecting 5-star gormet far that you'd pay five times more for. worth checking out. tell them Chris Locke sent you.

Disappointing. Just moved here from Philadelphia where I was spoiled by dozens of great restaurants in Chinatown. I ordered spicy bean curd with mixed vegetables and was really disappointed in the texture of it all and more importantly by the bland and watery sauce.
