Indian who loves real Indian food. I'm Indian and I've dined at all the restaurants in the Denver metro area. I've seen places come and go in the 15 years I've lived here. All of my Indian, Arabic, and Asian friends love Tandoori Grill the best and that's why it's been here for so long.
Absolutely wonderful Indian Food. I live in Boston now but I'm from Boulder and every time home I stop by my favorite restaurant, the Tandoori Grill. Walk into the Tandoori Grill and your senses are immediately rewarded by the rich smell of Indian spices, the beautiful decor and ambiance of the restaurant. The staff are extremely knowledgeable about the cuisine and the food is always good not just one or two items, everything. The last time I visited the restaurant, a couple of friends and I shared a fabulous meal and some delicious Mango margaritas ( a must try). To start we had some Pork Momo's (dumplings). The main course included Chicken Tikka Masala (chicken breast in a yummy creamy sauce), Lamb Karachi (stir-fry), and some feta and olive naan! For dessert we had chocolate samosas with chai ice cream-Beautiful! Thank you Tandoori Grill for such an amazing dining experience!
Delicious Indian Food and Great Service in Boulder. Rich smells, great service, and consistently delicious food is not what keeps me going back to Tandoori Grill, its the fact that its the best Indian food in town AND because its the only authentic Indian restaurant in Boulder. Not only are the owners Indian, but more importantly the chef at the Tandoori Grill is Indian and trained in crafting Indian cuisine. Many of the other restaurants in Boulder seem to be owned and operated by people of Nepalese origin. I love Nepalese food made by Nepalese chefs and I love Indian food when prepared by Indian chefs.
Consistently excellent Indian food. I lived in New York City for many years and ate my share of Indian meals there. Still, the Tandoori Grill is still one of my all-time favorite Indian spots. The saag paneer and the tandoori chicken are excellent and, perhaps most importantly, consistent. I have eaten at the Tandoori Grill over a dozen times, with friends or by myself, and everyone has always expressed a similar sentiment. Samosas, naan, a bottle of King Fisher... it's all good, baby.
