The old Whistler's (which was a Nederland Landmark for years and the best breakfast in town) was destroyed by fire in 2007. I tried the newly rebuilt Whislers and it is quite nice! The Ned-Head vibe is still there with a 'shrine' to Jerry and Ziggy on each side of a 43" plasma HDTV over the bar. This pretty much sums it up. Great Ned Vibe mixed with brand new style. (and $2 Stellas for happy hour which extends to 7pm the night i was there!) I had dinner, my companion had a burger form the lunch menu and i'm sure the breakfasts are as good as ever. Everything was great and the service was friendly. I'll be going back alot.
