WORST Retail Experience.
If it had not been Saturday afternoon with the possibility of Cash For Clunkers program ending come the end of the weekend and if CO was allowed to sell cars on Sundays, then I would have left. I actually considered leaving twice during the whole process.
The sales guy I had was okay. Not extrememly knowledgeable about the car but I did alot of research and knew what I wanted so I didn't need to be "sold" so to speak.
However, the Fiannce guy, right off the bat, was incredibly rude. When I was asking really basic questions ( I was not being rude or challenging or insinuating I was not going to comply) he immediately got verbally aggressive. We had felt as though we were being a huge inconveince by wanting to buy a car from him. He kept complaining about how much paperwork goes into each purchase through the government program. He ushered us out of his office at one point, apologized for being rude then within a minute after was being extremely rude all over again, did not communicate at all about the process, he would leave the room in a tizzy and not tell us where he was going... We actually ended up leaving without getting all our copies of the paperwork because he left and we figured we were done (Not to mention we had already been there for about 5 plus hours and were emotionally spent from his attitude. )
When we approached the sales manager he did not apologize but rather defended his rude employee excusing his behaviour! Absolutely astounding!
Bottom line I would prefer not to give business to those who don't care about their customers (or their business for that matter. Since customer service is a HUGE part of a business, especially a retail business).
As a first time car buyer, I'm hoping the car I just bought lasts me a long long time so I don't have to go through that same wringer again!
