Won't Honor Gift Certificate. Went to Agave last night to try it out with a gift certificate I purchased from Agave through Restaurant. com. The manager informed me that they no longer accepted them because too many were sold. Apparently Agave management didn't read the terms and conditions with Restaurant. com.

The purpose of the discounted gift certs from Restaurant. com is to get new customers to come to your restaurant - NOT to turn them away!!

Agave: you may have not done your due diligence on these discounted gift certs but come on - honor the ones you sold and move on. Maybe you'll even win some new loyal customers.

Best Mexican Food in Boulder. This is by far the best Mexican food restaurant I have come across in Boulder, and I have tried either most or all of them. The food is authentic, delicious, and served in large quantities. The service is super friendly as well. The restaurant is rarely crowded, which is more a testament of it's hard to find exterior than anything else.

All together, this restaurant is reasonably priced (two people can eat for $20) and is my favorite restaurant here in Boulder.
