An Honest Shop!. Best Auto is a great repair shop and I recommend it to everyone I know. First, Joe and his team are an honest crew. While they will tell me what needs to get fixed, they have never tried to "up-sale" me with "one more thing". If it needs fixing, they'll tell me, if it can go for a while, they'll tell me. In fact, these guys have told me things to try, over the phone, that might work, to avoid an unnecessary trip to the shop. Who does that these days? Joe is fair in his pricing and fair in his work. I have been using Joe and his team for my auto repair work for over 10 years and 4 cars and one big truck! I couldn't give Joe and his team higher praise, these guys are you guys you can trust. Honest Repair Shop. I think the post by lions123 below has some malicious intent behind it and is not indicative of Best Auto's service. I've been taking my cars to Joe's shop for almost 10 years and I trust him and wouldn't take my cars anywhere else. Before "Best Auto" I was at a Longmont shop that charged me just for looking under the hood and another Longmont guy tried to con me out of $300 on a mechanical seat repair that only required a circuit replacement. I was wanting to find a place I could trust after moving to Longmont and Best Auto is it. The staff is willing to give advice over the phone too - suggesting ways for you to help yourself and save a few bucks. Joe, thanks to you and your staff for all your help through the years!…

Kevin smith brought his Volvo in to Best Auto in early August 2009 . he asked for an evaluation and estimate for several concerns. His main concern was that the Volvo over heated on a long trips. We evaluated and repaired the over heating issue. we Gave him an estimate and advise on the rest of the repairs needed. A successful repair.
YES! There was body damage to the driver side door. The Volvo rolled backwards as the tech was removing the scanner from inside the car. We apologized and supplied Mr. smith with a paid rent a car and delivered his Volvo to a local body shop for repair. We paid for all repairs and the rent a car. Mr. smith look it over and test drove it for several days and at that time he was completely satisfied with both repairs mechanical and body work. This was august 12 2009
In late Dec 2009 I received a call from Kevin he had some concern with the paint. I asked him to bring it by so I could see it. after many canceled appointments by Kevin he finally shoed up in Feb. I saw the paint from a distance it looked like it was scratched again. wanting to help Mr. Smith I offered to repaint that area for no charge (we had some paint left from the last repair) ask that he would leave it with us for one day. I offered him a rent a car for $25 a day. Mr. smith left and was going to return with the car. Later that day he called and demanding a paid rent a car and a new car door. He also stated he would write bad reviews about us if we did not agree to his request.
