always a treat....
Brasserie Ten Ten is great - their Filet is one of THE BEST steaks I have EVER had - seared to perfection, great flavor, great accompaniments (mashed potatoes are not to be missed!!!)
The only thing I would say negative about Ten Ten is that during thier brunch (Sat and Sun), the service is not as good as during dinner/lunch. Everytime I've been there for brunch (about 10 times), my waitress has forgotten things, not gotten orders correct, etc etc. Also, thier french press coffee is way way too strong if you let it steep for the whole recommended time.

Ten Ten is Yum Yum!. No reservations for small parties here so arrive early and have a drink at the bar while you wait. The decor was pleasant and inviting. Although the dining room is full and bustling, you don't get the sense of being crowded. The combo Charcuterie & Cheese platter was delicious but a bit smaller than expected. We tried the grilled lamb chops served over mashed fingerling potatoes (very good), the Steak Frites - a NY strip served with an herb butter and delicious fries, and a Salmon fillet with miso sauce topped with fried leeks. The interesting wine list is somewhat limited with few choices under $30. For dessert we enjoyed a chocolate mousse cake flavored with Grand Marnier. Our server Katy was excellent.
