This Lafayette sushi bar brings sorely needed Japanese fare to the neighborhood.. The cozy dining area offers romantic seating by the fire as well as larger tables for groups of friends and family. Some prefer sitting at the bar, where the attentive chefs are eager to please with favorite cuts and exotic nightly specials. In addition to the classic options, choose from several unique rolls: crunchy tuna with citrus aioli, white fish and vegetables wrapped in cucumber rather than rice, and shrimp tempura with beef tenderloin.

Beautiful. Very delicious!!!! Nice enviroment....not a super large selection...but highly recommended!!!!

Sushi Mara Rocks. What a great place. The small room is intimate, though a bit noisy. The service was right on and most importantly the fish was fantastic. Who would have though Lafayette could deliver such great sushi!!! Be sure to check out the daily specials - they even have the little live crabs.

The cool thing is that you can get sushi AND order off the Magnolia menu if you're in the mood for some continental cuisine.

Freshest Catch Around. I am pleased to say that Lafayette has some of the best sushi in Colorado. Sushi Mara has proven to me that it's worth eating sushi inbetween the two coasts. I sat at Bryan's bar and let him select a fabulous meal for me. I could not have been more pleased
