Great Service & Excellent Communication!!!. I have used Precision Plumbing & Heating a couple of times and have been extremely impressed. They give you a specific appointment time instead of a giant window that takes up your entire day. Both times, they have actually been a little bit early and called to make sure that was ok. Great customer service! I wouldn't use anyone else!
Precision Plumbing Quality Service.
Precision Plumbing sent a technician to my house today to service my evaporative cooler. He called a few minutes in advance of arriving, was friendly, knowledgeable and completed the work thoroughly in reasonable time. I thought the fee was fair and feel comfortable that the appliance has been checked by someone who knows what they were doing.
If you want your problem addressed by a knowledgeable professional call Precision.
Overpriced and discriminatory service practices. I routinely use local plumbers for many real estate transactions and over time it has become apparent Precision Plumbing should not be used for your plumbing needs. Their prices are higher than competitors, their work is sub par, and it's difficult to get them to do work on properties which don't fall into their "preferred" category. Whatever that may be. REAL ESTATE AGENTS AND HOMEOWNERS DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. There are plenty of good local plumbers who do better work at a better price!
very expensive. I had a clog in my toilet and my landlord called precision plumbing. They snaked the toilet and sink and charged us $656 dollars. Problem was not fixed. Precision came out two days later because problem was not fixed. They took off the toilet and charged us another $150. Problem still not fixed but because of lack of funds we just don't use the toilet anymore. I would never recommend precision plumbing at their current rates.

I will not use their services any more.
Two big problems --
1. Overprice -- I had them come to winterize the evaporative cooling system. It was insanely expensive.
2. Unprofessional -- The manager came to give me an estimate for a furnace heating system. Mine has just broken. He said we needed to change the heat water tank too because it was too old and because the design of my house did not allow them to take the old furnace out. And he did not give me any information about some models because he did not like the most affordable model and he did not like the energy efficient furnace. So he recommended me to buy the most expensive non-energy-efficient furnace + the hot water tank + the humidifier. The total price was about $9,000. Then I had another company came and gave me a quote for an energy efficient furnace with a humidifier (of course I did not need to get a new hot water tank) for under $6,000.

I am afraid I can not speak to the specifics without more information, but I think that we are a very energy conscience company and should absolutely be presenting any information that a Customer is interested in. I also believe it is important to make our customers aware of products or services that we may see that are either potential problems, something that may benefit the Customer or to be Code compliant with improvements. I would welcome communication to further understand the circumstances and make any corrective action on our part that might be appropriate.

Can't say for sure how good they are because....
...THEY NEVER BOTHERED SHOWING UP FOR THE APPOINTMENT, NO CALL, NOTHING!
It's amazing to me, with as much competition as there seems to be, they would conduct themselves like that.
I called one of their competitors and they came out that evening and I'm purchasing a new A/C unit from them.
Obviously I won't ever be recommending Precision to family and friends after that.
Over Charged.
We had Precision Plumbing - Heating – Cooling install a new furnace and air conditioner 10 years ago. They have been servicing the system about every other year with no problems. This year they mailed out discount coupons for air-conditioner service at one-half the normal charge. While checking of the compressor unit outside it was determined that a relay contact switch had been arching to the point it was not making a solid contact. Their service Tec wrote up a statement of $358.43 to replace the relay switch. Since he was here, we trusted his estimate and agreed to have it installed. He also gave an estimate about installing a Hard Start Kit for $426.59. I turned that one down. ------on the internet that cost about $40 – $60.00.
It took the service Tec less than one-half hour to replace the relay switch. The service Tec was courteous and well trained at doing his job. Three or four days later thinking about that relay switch, I looked it up on the internet. Sure enough, I found the one he put in my compressor unit sells for $28.95 they charged $358.43 We feel that we were ripped off on that charge. I went to their web site and used their e-mail to let them know my dissatisfaction over a week ago. To date I have not received an answer.
