TERRIBLE Customer Service: If you are self-loathing, by all means, tan here. If not, stay as far away as possible. The woman at the desk (about 50 with a strong accent), was so rude from the moment I walked in. And because I was using a coupon before buying a whole package there, I think she thought it was okay to mistreat me. I had read reviews before going here, and chose to ignore the bad reviews...BIG MISTAKE. I filled out the new customer information, but by the time my bed was ready, I decided to forgo the free tan. The woman is a miserable person, who should not have any business talking to any customers. Stay clear of Veranda Sun. Unless you hate yourself.
Terrible customer service. Let me start by saying that I have NEVER posted to a review site before, because I have honestly never felt so mistreated by a business. However, after my terrible experiences with Veranda Sun, I have been compelled to review it on multiple platforms. I have fair skin, but have been practicing the ritual of establishing a base tan pre-vacation for over 8 years, so it's safe to say I have the process down. I went to Veranda Sun to prepare for a wedding that was a week away. The girl at the front desk recommended the 5000 bed, as I was unfamiliar with the strength of their particular beds. I asked to purchase an unlimited month. That evening, I noticed I had a huge, blatant line running from my neck down my calves - clearly from the lights. I called the salon, and the receptionist informed me that this was a complaint she has heard before, and offered to put me in a 6000 bed. She also told me it was my fault - that I need to keep my back off the bed and move around a lot more - issues I had never had to deal with at previous tanning salons. Against my better judgment, I agreed to try to let them fix the situation. As it turns out, they completely forgot about me in the waiting room. After 30 minutes, I finally went to figure out was wrong. I barely received an apology, and certainly was not compensated. The following day I was informed that I had not purchased a monthly package as I requested, but that the initial staff member had me pay for a 5 package special. Finally at my wits end, I left the salon with a request to have the owner call me. She did, and rudely informed me that it was my issue because of my fair skin (again, the issue was not burning - it was a blatant line caused by the bed), that she would not offer me a refund of any kind for the package, and then proceeded to say that she would "offer" me time in the stand-up until my wedding. I was already $70 deep into the situation with only 2 tans used, so I didn't understand how on earth she was remedying the situation. When I noted this to her, she raised her voice and started berating me on how the situation was my fault and even more so because I was not "allowing her to fix it". She became so ridiculous that I had to hang up the phone. If I were you, I would not waste my time on this business. There are plenty of other more helpful and reliable tanning salons in Boulder.
Veranda Sun is not a dentist so the previous review is false.
Good packages, Owner on premises.... a plus in today's society of corporate long term packages which reqire 2 year agreements and immediately gets sold off to a collection agency. Personal spray tanning is what I go there for . It is always a pleasure working with Hanna or her daughter. Good family biz.

My husband and I had an awesome experience at this location. The staff was extremely helpful, and were very knowledable about their equipment - and the equipment was really nice! We never had to wait, we were always warmly greeted and appreciated and aside from getting a really great tan before our trip, I got a great pair of sandals and my husband bought 2 pairs of sunglasses!
We would never plan on going on a trip without a visit to VerandaSun!
NOT A DENTIST. Don't ever go here. This person did unnecessary excessive surgery on me. He has severely and permanently injured my jaw. I now live in severe chronic pain. I have migraine headaches, tooth pain, eye pain, ear pain, ringing in the ears, fascial pain, neck pain and back pain. I get feelings of dizziness. I must wear a splint 24 hrs/day for any relief at all. It is painful to talk and smile. In addition the crowns he made were too large for my mouth. He has never taken responsiblity for his actions and has misrepresented information. I will always be on medication for pain. All of his sloppy work had to be redone at my expense. The injury he inflicted upon me happened in 2002 and I still live with severe pain every waking moment. I am still under medical care due to his negligence.
