Best Southern Food in Colorado at Leenie's, bar none!. Leenie's consistently delivers southern food that is, in fact, better than food down south. I lived in MS for 6 years and go south all the time, and there are very few places that match up with Leenie's. The beignets, hot chocolate, grits, and so many other dishes are to die for. The location's a bit of a hole-in-the-wall but they're always friendly and have lots of toys to keep the little ones (like my 2year old) happy. Do yourself a favor and try this restaurant, it's one of the very best in Denver (from a self-proclaimed foodie)!
