Would not go there for a bikini wax!.
I just went here last week for a Brazilian wax. I was very disappointed with the results! The girl who I went to see used strip wax which was remarkably painful (I've been getting Brazilians for
years and most definitely have a tolerance for pain). Strip wax is useful for places like your legs because it is quicker and covers a larger area, but I was shocked when she used this on such a sensitive area. Their website reassures the customer that they use the appropriate wax for sensitive areas - if this was the case the woman would most definitely have used hard wax like any other nice salon I have been to. On top of the painful experience I had to come home and pluck because she did not do a thorough job.
I also was not pleased with the customer service, particularly when I called to double check the time of my appointment and they took a long time trying to figure out if I had really been booked! Also the customer service has never been particularly friendly and the appointments are nearly always about 10-15 minutes after the time that they were scheduled.
I would check out reviews on other places before scheduling an appointment here.…
My hair was butchered here.... I wish I had read the 9/28 review before coming here. I decided to buy the groupon deal and figured the place must be good if it is in boulder, big mistake. I also was not greeted very warmly but didn't mind so long as I received a nice haircut. I told the woman who was cutting my hair that I just wanted "a trim" and we agreed to take 2 inches off. She took double if not triple that amount off, I have before and after pictures to prove it. Not only was cut way shorter than I had expected but all layers look ridiculous. I have never had such a bad haircut in my life. I think what irks me the most is that I believe she did this intentionally because I told her that my husband did not like short hair on me and since she had short hair I must have offended her. When I told her at the end that this haircut was shorter than we had discussed she told me that she thought it looked good. When I told my daughter that daddy is not going to like my hair she responded that "I am sure he didn't marry you for your hair!" Oh and one comment was "men just like long hair on woman because it makes them feel younger" She blatantly cut my hair short going against my wishes for her own personal reasons. I am so appalled and would NEVER, EVER recommend this place to anyone not even for your dog. The point of Groupons as a company is to show people how great your business is so that they will try it on a Groupon and then come back and refer people to you, this place obviously does not get that.…
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER.

I wanted to share the recent experience that I had at Finishing Touch Spa. When I saw that there was a Groupon I decided to call and see if they had any weekend openings and made a reservation. I told the lady on the phone that I had purchased the Groupon deal and her attitude towards me became almost immediately impatient when collecting my contact information. Since I live in Fort Collins and I had bought this Groupon for Boulder (1 hr drive), my mom and I decided to make it a shopping day in Boulder.

Questionable Reviews. I haven't been here but anyone else feel that a lot of the good reviews are fishy! I almost always go online and read reviews before I purchase something or go somewhere that I'm unfamiliar and I have to say a lot of the 5 star reviews have this same theme to them like they've been written by the same person. Usually reviews actually have content that gives you an idea of what the place is like and instead of doing that a lot of the reviews are like an advertisement. Great service, great staff, best place ever, been here for years, always satisfying, blah, blah, blah. I smell foul play.…
horrible brow wax. I hate to right a bad review on a place I've been going to for so many years, and I've never written a bad review on any local business but tonight's experience was horrible. I arrived for my 7:00 appointment and the woman at the front desk told me to go wait in the back. Twenty minutes later I went up front to check with her on if anybody was available to see me. She said the woman who was scheduled to do my brow wax was still in her previous appointment. She looked around in a rather panicked fashion until a woman arrived from the salon area, she explained that she didn't know what to do and the woman (didn't catch a name) said that she would do my brow wax even though she was obviously done with work and on her way out the door. I felt bad for inconveniencing her and apologized, and she was kind about it and said it would be fine. I was a little apprehensive about having someone who was already checked out for the day rush through my appointment, but I had to leave town the next day and couldn't reschedule for several weeks so I went for it. The table she had me lie down on was sticky and i was peeling wax off my hands for thirty minutes after the appointment. (I was also picking it out of my hair for a while after... not quite sure how that happened.) After my appointment I just wanted to get out of there so I payed and left, and when i looked in the mirror i noticed that not only had she not followed the natural line of my brows, (they've never been this shape before, in fact, they lack any shape at all, they're just straight across) but they were un-even lengths, the left was relatively normal but she waxed off the whole back end of the right one so that it was just the fat part on top with no tail end. I'm not sure whether to pluck the left one to make it look even or wear my hair over my face on the right side to try to hide it. It's by FAR the worst eyebrow wax i've ever had. I can't believe I payed to look deformed for the next month.…
