Great food, great Friday night DJ

by vildetika

The food here is delicious and health-conscious. The tripletts are sweethearts. And best of all..... the dancing. Friday nights are da bomb!!

Never Going Back!

by mountnhwy

Although the Food and Wine was well presented and of good quality, the service and overall experience was sub-par. After one member of our party of four accidently broke a wine glass, the entire table was "cut-off" by one of the pretentious (even for a wine bar!) owners in an insulting manner. Everyone at the table could agree that this would have been an appropriate gesture by the house, had we been exhibiting a behavior unacceptable for the establishment. However, after only two glasses of wine and dinner, with no otherwise provocation or "rowdyness" the owner not only effectively cut the table off, but also insulted our already-embarrassed party member. I have never been treated so rudely, even in an over-rated wine establishment anywhere I have been, especially not in Boulder. I will never return.

This Boulder locale offers elegant wining and dining in one room, live music and dancing in another.

In Short
The casually hip atmosphere is emphasized by a couple of scattered couches and soft lighting. Menu options range from light appetizers, crab cakes and baked Brie to entrees such as Colorado lamb over couscous. The worldly wine list includes some African and South American labels, many by the glass. Popular with 20- and 30-somethings, the lounge is more about beer, live local music and plenty of room to dance. Call for scheduling.

A bit of everything

by merivel

Trilogy has it all. The restaurant, conveniently located just off the Pearl Street Mall, is comfy and intimate with both traditional tables and booths and overstuffed velvet couches. Service is leisurely but good. The main draw here is the yummy and varied food. Their coconut shrimp are phenominal! I would also highly recommend the Top Sirloin of Colorado Lamb, and the Macadamian Salmon. Bear in mind when ordering drinks that Trilogy is a wine bar. Martini's here need to be basic to be good. In the back room is a stage and bar with room to dance. The back room is more "Rock" and the from restraunt is more "Jazz and Blues".

  • Pros: great food, live music in back, affordable happy hour
  • Cons: irregular pricing
