My food and service were sub-par
by Rhialistic at Citysearch
I was eager to try this place when I heard others claim it was good.
We were seated on a very non-busy sunday evening, and proceeded to wait 10-15 minutes for drink orders, then 10-15 more minutes for drinks and food orders! No idea why...it wasn't packed or anything.
I'm a pretty patient person and was with friends, so this wasn't a big deal, but if you are not so patient, this would annoy you!
My husband ordered their fish and chips and I got the shepherd's pie. We are NOT, i repeat NOT, expecting gourmet food at an Irish pub nor are we picky eaters. I have to say my meat was barely edible. It was quite tough and gristly. My husband's fish was soggy and greasy and worse than anything I've ever had at Long John Silver's. The prices weren't all that cheap either...especially for the poor quality eats.
If anyone suggests this place in the future, I will certainly counter with another suggestion. I do NOT know how people can like the food here. It's too bad because I liked the quirky decor and atmosphere here.
- Pros: atmosphere is kinda fun
- Cons: Food quality
Best IRISH PUB in Town

But it's worth it!! Good fun and food. Another awesome find introduced to us with our realtor Marks gift of the 2-for 1 dinner club eat-4-free dot comm
- Pros: Good food, beer and bands
- Cons: Crowded when THE INDULDGERS Play

ok so irish pubs are my life. i would go to one everyday before i moved back to america, sometimes multiple times a day. irish pubs are known for being a place to go and feel as if you are still at home. cozy, friendly, great times. they have snake bites which are the best drinks EVER. they are half lager half cider and then a dash of black current juice. they are illegal in most pubs in england. plus their cider is not the cheap kind, its strongbow, the #1 primo cider. if you want to have a really super fun night out go here. there are even live bands sometimes and you can dance your little heart out. people do. its great. really good food too.
- Pros: everything. its just like entering a wonderland.
- Cons: um...none.
Happy hour - Happy hour - Happy hour!!

Conor's is a great and convenient choice for happy hour. The earlier you get there the better, the place gets busy around 7 and makes it hard to find a seat. Don't expect to be drinking more than beer if this is where you spend your evening, but the cozy niches make for an intimate setting for one-on-one or group conversations.
Great place

This is the best bar in Boulder. The waitresses and bartenders are friendly and the food and drinks are well priced. It's a great Irish pub that doesn't get too busy on any night of the week (watch out during St. Patricks day, though) but there are always plenty of interesting people around.
- Pros: Great service, prices, and atmosphere
- Cons: Don't buy nachos at an irish pub
Gotta love the Irish
by clementine80 at Citysearch
After spending 4 months in Ireland I'm always looking for a good Irish pub wherever I go and so far Conor O'Neill's is the best choice I've found in Boulder. The crowd tends to be younger (many C.U. students) after 10 p.m. but it's for all ages during lunch and dinner. They do a good job of bringing the emerald isle to the new country without being too kitschy, and while the food is pretty average pub grub their beer selection is very nice and served in generous pint sizes. It has plenty of seating and the service has always been friendly on my many visits; it's one of my favorite Boulder locales.
- Pros: Good Beer, lots of seating, friendly
- Cons: average food
With its dim lighting, Guinness paraphernalia and Irish-American menu, Conor O'Neill's captures the feel of a traditional Irish pub.

Great Experience!

The server was friendly and knowledgeable. The server suggested Fish-n-chips made with Beer batter and was fantastic. Irish music was playing and we sat next to the fireplace. We'll definitely be back!!!
- Pros: Ambience, food, beer
