Pharmaca is what you'd get if you plucked the health and wellness aisles out of Whole Foods Market and made them into their own store. It's all natural vitamins, supplements, bath and hygeine products, and wellness books. Oh yeah, and a full pharmacy in back. I think it's great! It's fun just to go in and look around at all the things that you could be doing to be healthier. I have found, though, that prices on most items are a little higher than the other health food stores (Whole Foods, Wild Oats, Vitamin Cottage) in the area.

Downtown Pharmaca far better than the other 2 stores in town

The staff is always friendly, polite and helpful.

I can't say that for the North Boulder Pharmaca. I have never encountered such arrogance out of a retail service employee in my life. If they were actually as good of "Herbalists" "Nutritionists" and "Estheticians" as they seem to think that they are, they would most likely be working in their respective field. they need to lose their cockiness.

The new South Boulder Pharmaca is just as bad, I was actually talked down to like a child by their staff Esthetician.

• Pros: knowledgeable staff
• Cons: parking @ the downtown store
