I have been Going here for 2 years and Dalanee is amazing. I am from east coast and this salon rivals any of the chic NYC places.

They take the time to listen to what you want, I have even gotten upgraded services at no charge!

Go here- it's reasonably priced and the staff is warm and friendly, I've never had a bad experience.

I came in for a trim, and Krystal gave me that and so much more! She listened to what I said, she talked to me, she did what I wanted her to, I could go on and on!! Also she told me tips about hair, and, unlike every other hairstylist I've been to, she didn't try to sell me every product there. I's so excited about my next appointment here!!!

Avoid this stylist!!

An absolutely horrible experience! I worked with a young girl, Krystal Troyer, and yes I mean girl to do a simple trim up job. She seemed disoriented and inexperienced. Spent most of her time chatting with co workers instead of paying attention to my needs. To top it off, the worst hair cut I have ever had! I have been reduced to wearing a hat and being embarrassed at my job. Good with color? If you want your hair granny purple as opposed to red! This girl needs to get in check and go back to school. I heard she was just hired on from FiX? Wow, bad pick. Next time I will just go to cost cutters for mediocre hair care with an attitude. Dressed completely inappropriate: this is a business, not a strip club. Thanks for nothing.

Great!!!

I love this salon! I am a faithful customer of Amanda and she is just great! She has great vision and really listens to your worries, concerns and what you are looking to do.

She does not rush and is always very through. There have been times after she did my hair that she would see me after and say stop by because she wanted to fix some stuff!

She is just great! I can not say enough good about her!

Disappointing

I was on crutches several months ago and was unable to stand long enough to wash my own hair.

I went in to see a stylist for a simple wash/style (I won't name names because I think stylist is good with other people but I was SOOOO disappointed). Stylist was running late and I waited patiently. Stylist started to wash my hair, and then admitted he didn't know what to do with it. I am black and I have a TON of hair, but I thought a simple wash/style should be no problem for Stylist with such a great reputation. I almost started to cry, but stylist proceeded.

Stylist constantly asked me questions about HOW to do my own hair. When stylist was finally finished my hair looked great, but it felt like straw. Even though I told stylist to put a lot of product in my hair, stylist didn't listen.

To put the icing on the cake, the receptionist charged me $20 more than quoted because 'it took so much longer.' I was insulted and disappointed and will never return to the salon again.

• Cons: Stylist not knowledgeable, my hair was dry as straw

Jean Charles is hands-down the best stylist/ colorist who I have encountered in the Denver area. I am from Manhattan and was looking for a salon which rivaled those in major international cities. JC is extremely experienced, professional and conscientious. He takes pride in his work. I have not met anyone in the Denver Metro area that comes close to his expertise. My hair came out exactly the color that I envisioned which was not an easy feat as my hair has been colored many times. He has excellent taste also and I trust him with any decisions that he makes. He is a real asset to Boulder.

1313 is a Gem

I found 1313 from this site on the Web. I was in a hurry so I took who was available and lucked out to get Amanda with some free time. She is an incredible colorist and stylist. I came in with serious issues and she worked through each one with talent and panache. I am 100% thrilled with the outcome! I have lived all over the US (and outside the US) and in my experience she is a very talented stylist. Go on, call Amanda! and tell her Molly sent you!

1313 is wonderful. The staff is is always welcoming and a very upbeat atmosphere. I have been going to Amanda for about a year and I always leave happy and feeling great about my look. Amanda is very knowledgeable and truly cares about what you want. Her coloring technique is amazing, best I have ever had. 1313 is a must do, you won't be disappointed!

Have been going to Amanda for almost a year now. She cares what about my opinion and is up on the latest trends and styles. The greatest colorist I've ever seen. She is amazing!

Nicest people and best stylist in town!

I went in to 1313 after going to another well known salon in town and was immediately impressed. The receptionist was really nice and made me fell welcome. I had to fill out a form for them to get to know me better. My hairdresser's name was Delaney and she was awesome. She had the experience and personality to go with it. She made my hair look better than it ever has and informed me of the products and how she was doing it so I could do it on my own. She was very nice and real. I am glad that the "other" salon wasn't so nice. I will continue going to Delaney at 1313 from now on.

• Pros: Great stylist, Nice atmosphere, awesome attitudes.
• Cons: none that I can think of.
