unfortunate experience turned good.
I had an unfortunate experience with an assistant manager who refused us seating because we had originally called in an order but changed our minds and decided to eat in.
The good news is that the manager found out what happened the next day and immediately called me to apologize. Everyone makes mistakes now and then but it was really uplifting to know that at least this particular manager saw the importance of customer service.
Their pizzas are refreshingly different and you don't feel like you've exceeded your calorie count for the day after dining.…
No more Protos for us either.
I'm not a regular Proto's customer for the same reason others have stated: good, but over priced for what you get.
Today however, my friend told me about her favorite Proto's pizza. We were hungry and it sounded good, so we phoned in an order between picking up Volley Ball Girl and Soccer Boy. As we arrived, we learned that Soccer Boy would be awhile longer. So, we asked to be seated so we could have a piece or two of our pizza and some beverages. We shocked by the immediate answer: "NO!"
"Excuse me?"
"This is a busy Friday night. It's our rule. You cannot stay," and eat pizza in this pizza eating establishment. The place was not even half way filled up. We explained that we just wanted to stay maybe 15 min. "NO."
So, will I go back? NO. Will my friend's family go back? NO.
NO seems to be Proto's favorite word. So, NO more Proto's for us!…
no more protos for us.
we always brought guests for casual meals to Protos
no more
Emory our waitress was great Danielle also sweet
but the attitude of the 2 gum-chewing blondes on friday 6/23 was just too much
It was like they were doing you a favor to wait on us (and others)and one actually almost threw the pizza on the table!
we wanted to eat outside because of the heat inside (no air conditioner on a 95 degree day?? whats up)
we understood if no tables, but how about a little communication?? too many people are without jobs for patrons to have to pit up with that!…
Poor food, drinks, and service. The margarita pizza had little cheese (we had to add our own from the parmesian shaker) and 1 leaf of basil cut up and distributed 5 ways, barely enough to justify the extra $3. The waitstaff seemed as though they'd rather be somewhere else, they were all very young and put off by having to work. The bartender should really learn how to make a mojito, because club soda, rum, and lime just doesn't cut it. It was salty and just plain awful, we were really disappointed. When asking the person who made our mojio to bring us some sugar to add to the drink, they seemed confused and did little to investigate the problem. We've had our fair share of mojios and were really disgusted. The Proto's in LoDo was exponentially better, we will never return to this location again.…
it's OK. I have no idea what the attraction is... to me it was like a small thin cracker with a hint of sauce and about 5 peperoni slices on it. It looked picture pretty with its rustic uneven shape and slight bows in the dough... "chic" but really....$20 for that? No thanks. But some people like it.…
Editorial Review. Gourmet thin-crust pizzas sporting toppings such as feta cheese, portabella mushrooms and ham. Wine by the bottle or glass.
Pizza. This pizza, if you like thin crust, is the best you'll ever eat. It's not a saucy pizza, but the perfect blend of sauce and cheese to melt in your mouth. The pizza preparation is a thing of beauty, complete with chairs in front of the window to watch them being hand tossed. Their salad is the best salad I've ever eaten as well. The service is the fastest and friendliest I've ever experienced. The wait staff is attentive and knowledgeable. I LOVE THIS PLACE!!…
