Delicious food, Exquisite service, THE place to go in Boulder

by kristylsummers

Brasserie Ten Ten - is a TEN. The food (French / Mediterraean) is to-die-for, with a wide slection from oysters to artisan cheese to coc au vin to crepes. The Saturday & Sunday brunch is equally as wonderful as their dinner menu - with a wide variety of choices. And BTT has one of the best Happy Hours around with hearty Bouchee "bites" from $1 - $5 and beers and wines for $3.

Don't miss these:

Brunch - B&B (buttermilk biscuits smothered in sausage gravy), brique poulet, salad nicoise and the eggs Florentine with salmon.

Happy Hour - French nachos, tempura fried asparagus, petite French dip, Chesapeake oysters ($1 each!) and the mussels in an amazing broth.

Dinner - fruits de mer, plats du jour, the filet and anything from the daily specials.

You can't go wrong here. Oh, and the service - impeccable.

  • Pros: Food, Staff, Attention to details, Wine List
  • Cons: At certain times, you will wait - but that is par for the course.

Nice decor, good food

by conjunction3

I went to Bresserie ten ten for the bastille day celebration, which was great. They had a live band playing nice layed back music. They had street side crepes for $1! I got the ham and greuyere which was drizzled with balsalmic vin. and it was deliscious. This is a classy place, but they are friendly and inviting and not too serious. I would reccomend comming in not looking too layed back though, because you will feel out of place.

  • Pros: Great food, great decor, friendly staff (for the most part) nice location
  • Cons: a tad bit "uppidy" but thats to be expected

Almost perfect

by Bayridge231

The instant I walked in the door I thought to myself, "Oh, boy" here comes the wait. The place was absolutely packed. I barely got my name out to the Hostess and she immediately finished my reservation confirmation and sat us at our table. It only got better from there. We (group of 4) had a spectacular evening. Our waiter was courteous and attentive. The food some of the best I've had. Flat Iron steaks, Veal Roast and Lamb Chops all scrumptious. Do not pass on the home made chips drizzled with a Roquefort cheese sauce. We never did make it to dessert, sorry. The wine list wasn't anything special, but the prices were reasonable for a restaurant. The only down side was the noise, but after awhile we got in the groove with the rambunctiousness of it all and just enjoyed ourselves.

  • Pros: food, wait staff
  • Cons: noise

Good Food, Great Service, Good Price

by jhilany

I went with my wife to this restaurant yesterday night. They have great French food for a very good price. And the service was very good as well; You can tell that management spent time training their waiters/waitresses on how to deliver a good and consistent service. I recommend this restaurant. By the way, we had the soupe a loignon gratinee (French Onion Soupe) and coq au vin.

  • Pros: Food, Price, Service
  • Cons: (None)

Situated within the Pearl Street Mall, this upscale bistro offers uniquely prepared French cuisine.

In Short
The softly lit interior feels sumptuous, with dark woods, comfortable booths and windows looking toward the Flatirons. People crowd the bar to enjoy a drink, while chefs move deftly through the open kitchen. Starters include fresh mussels simmering in white-wine broth, covered in pommes frites; crispy oysters Rockefeller; or smooth ahi tartare with garlicky olive tapenade. Entrees include juicy New York strip glazed in balsamic vinegar, seared sea scallops and tender rosemary-crusted chicken.

Long Waits

by mgvasil78

I have been to Brasserie Ten Ten on numerous occasions--lunch, breakfast, dinner. I have never had a bad experience, the service is good and the food is very good. However, I ususally find that the wait is quite long on the weekends (sometimes 2 hours). Arrive early if you want to enjoy your evening.

  • Pros: Sunday brunch, food/price
  • Cons: evening wait, crowded waiting area

A good evening turned into a great night!

by guitardragon

I went here looking for a romantic date with my girlfriend, and was very pleased with the restaurant. The ambience in the dining room was very romantic. We were seated very promptly as I had made reservations although the restaurant was not that busy on that particular night. The service was very good and helpful with questions that we had.

  • Pros: Good Food, Great Service, Romantic

Great food, great value, fabulous staff

by nyamnyam

We started with calamari and pate appetizers, which were very delicious and pretty big in portions. I had mussels with frites (which were very delicious and crunchy) and finished with crème bullet (three different flavors, espresso flavor was especially interesting, combination of sweetness and bitterness). Staff was fabulous. My daughter dropped fork on the floor twice, the waiter immediately gave her a replacement. I went to the restroom, when I came back I found nicely folded napkin on my chair, cute:) Plates were changed immediately. The atmosphere is very casual but at the same time romantic too. I would say it is OK to bring your child to the Ten Ten. They have great children's menu. Ten Ten is my number one French restaurant in Boulder.

  • Pros: casual atmosphere, great value, delicious food

always a treat...

by coloradoboulder

Brasserie Ten Ten is great - their Filet is one of THE BEST steaks I have EVER had - seared to perfection, great flavor, great accompaniments (mashed potatoes are not to be missed!!!)

The only thing I would say negative about Ten Ten is that during thier brunch (Sat and Sun), the service is not as good as during dinner/lunch. Everytime I've been there for brunch (about 10 times), my waitress has forgotten things, not gotten orders correct, etc etc. Also, thier french press coffee is way way too strong if you let it steep for the whole recommended time.

  • Pros: great food, great ambiance
  • Cons: , sometimes a long wait
